Question by Mayra: What island in Hawaii is better to visit?
Were planning a family vacation to Hawaii but I need some advice please! look for a beach were we can do a little sightseeing, go to the beach, kid like( 3-14 year) friendly and then we can go clubbing at night. Anyone knows of a good place and hotel. Your suggestions are much appreciated.

Maui is the best one. Nice sandy beaches at Kaanapali, road to Hana with the black sand beach, Haleakala volcano, Lahaina town. Check out Jon’s Maui Website. The Big Island is also nice but not as fancy. But the Big Island has an active volcano.

I actually think Waikiki fits the bill for a family with kids. There are lots of kid friendly activities on Oahu, like the zoo & Outrigger canoe rides. Waikiki beach is very kid friendly & the night life is the best in the state.
Maui! Your family will love maui. However, not many places to go clubbing.
Maui, for sure. Oahu to me was a lot like California with better beaches and angry locals. Maui is the Hawaii that everyone imagines. The mood is very laid back everywhere you go and the locals are much nicer, in my opinion. There is a ton of stuff to do without a ton of people. Have fun!
