Question by Shanna C: What are some good appetite suppressants?
I’m trying to lose weight and I like to snack a lot so I was wondering if I should try appetite suppressants. I don’t know much about them though. How do they work? Are they safe? What are the best kinds?

Drink a glass of water or two when you are tempted to snack a lot. Water will help you in many ways and also keep your tummy feeling rather full.

The best way to loose weight is to excersice. Eat three square meals every day and don’t snack inbetween. (If you feel in the need to snack, fill up on water.) I’d stay away from all pills and meds, they are unnecesary and potencially harmful to your health.

Amphetamines are probably the most effective, but unless you’re really overweight and everything else has failed, you’re unlikely to be able to get a prescription. Green tea contains small amounts of ephedra, which is chemically similar and may help, as well as caffeine, which boosts metabolism and suppresses appetite, but can also increase stress hormone levels and thus encourage fat storage. There are a lot of herbal products on the market, but try looking for consumer reports on any specific product before taking it.

i like hoodia its really expensive in some places I hear though. I can get mine for about $ 20 and thy will last a month. They are all natural and will cause no side effects so you dont need to worry about them harming you. Also drink a tonnnn of water it will fill you up so you wont have the urge to snack as much diet coke is also good for this b/c it had zero cals as well as green tea (which also boosts your metab as a bonus)
