Question by RockGod55: Will a speeding ticket in Hawaii show up on my Massachusetts record?
I received a speeding ticket in Hawaii and I live in Massachusetts and that’s where all my driving records are and everything.

Will the Hawaii ticket show up as a “in state” offense back in Massachusetts?

Cool, was it on the big island? Did you get a blue light special cop driving a tricked out ride? lol

No, I believe Massachusetts only shares driving infractions between NY, NJ, VERMONT

Hawaii is the 50th state. A regular check for local area may not show but a history file will definitely show. Some states run a check on only the last 3 years so yes it would show as most current.

Yes, it will show because your driver’s license is (as you seem to suggest) still a Mass driver’s license. The ticket will be entered into NCIC (that’s common though, it’s just the information database), and your state’s DMV will also be notified. Found this one out the hard way for me when I got a ticket while in college. Though my DL was for Mississippi, and the ticket in Georgia, I STILL got points on my license for it back home.
