All depends on how much money you have oahu=honalulu,is the cheapist everything is kinda in walking distance or a short bus ride away. The big island hawaii is more spread out and not geared to much for leaving the resort you are at,the island is big ,maui is also small but very much geared to staying where you are. go to thebroucheres and see what each has to offer horseback riding scuba diving, hang gliding motoxriding there is so much to do maybe even the internet will help.best of time as long as you stay in or at least where lots of people are after dark!!! it is a big city!!! dont wander off after dark. mahalo

Maui, no question. It is super romantic, not too huge. The road to Hana is wonderful. Four Seasons Wailea is supposed to be the best hotel. If you can’t afford it Hyatt Maui is good too although very large. i would suggest a couple days in Hana hotel – has jacuzzis on the verandas. The great thing about Hawaii is that it is perfect year round.

Big Island, Hawaii.
There you can go to the highest mountain in the world from sea level up, and if you come during winter it snows in Muana Kea.
Also you can see the active volcano Kilauea.
Be sure to go to Kona side though, it’s more paradise.
Theirs so many climate there. Kona is more sunny, Hilo is more rainy, and Waimea is cold. They have white sand beach, black sand beach, and green sand beach.

But the best thing about Kona though is that it’s not over populated like Oahu or Maui.

I think Maui is not as crowded as the Honolulu area, and it has great beaches. It also has a lot to do there, and is pretty. You can get the best rates in the fall to stay there- I know of a condo that is renting at $ 80/nt. for the fall, and it is near a great beach. Owner owned condos can be a better deal- for about half the price of a hotel. You can also make you meals in the kitchens, and save money there. There is also information on this website for activities.

Either Maui, Kauai, or Lanai. It depends on what you want to do while in Hawaii. It also depends on your budget. There are all different types of Hotels and Condos on the islands for every budget.

The best way to get the most for yoru money is talk to a Specialist. It is very important to speak with someone who has been to Hawaii (and all the condos and resorts) and is familiar with the packages offered for your travel dates. And make sure the agent you speak to doesnt charge any fees, most do, we do not.

Low Season (cheaper time to travel) is Sept-Dec avoiding holidays and the April and May (again avoiding holidays).
