Question by lm: what is the adverse reaction from mixing phentermine and a muscle relaxer?
i had a very bad pinched nerve on my back and took a muscle relaxer last night,it did not kick in until about 10 pm ,however in the morning i took phentermine for weight loss and now I feel lousy ..should I go to the hospital?

No, you don’t need to go to the hospital, but you DO need to contact your doctor who prescribed your muscle relaxer. Mixed meds can have bad, or serious reactions. Perhaps you should take your muscle relaxer til THAT problem is resolved. Worry about losing weight later, and don’t mix ANYTHING without telling your MD about everything you take.

Did you take the med this AM on an empty stomach? You need to research Phentermine on line, to be sure you are taking it properly…..if you insist on continuing both. Sounds like your pinched nerve is what you should be focusing on right now.

Is this a prescription med, or something you bought on line, or from “a friend?” Stop playing games with your body. It doesn’t know WHAT all is going on with it.
Medications are nothing to experiment with! or take unnecessary risks with!
