Question by [b. lumberg]: Is there anything I can take in conjunction with Phentermine to make it work better?
Please, no lectures. If you are or have been a user of Phentermine, do you know any things you can take with it to make it work better or to maximize the experince? Thanks so much!
The use of the antidepressant in the Phen-Pro cocktail is unrelated to depression. The cocktail is necessary because the effects of Phentermine, when used alone, lessen over time. The Phen-Pro cocktail enables Phentermine to work better and for a longer period of time. The cocktail does not appear to cause the problems that resulted from the usage of Fen-Phen.

Thanks alot, I found this on the Phentermene website!

The best medicine to use in conjunction with phentermine is Prozac… the combination is typically refer to it as phen-pro. Many doctors are hesitant about prescribing this combination, so you’ll have to find one that will. However this combination is completely safe. You can also get either or both medications online through online pharmacies. The only thing that sucks about it though is that insurance won’t typically pay for getting Rx online.

Don’t you HATE the people who lecture? You know they’re all skinny and sanctimonious and have no clue what it’s like to need a drug to lose weight.
The phentermine site has some information on taking other drugs with it so that it doesn’t become LESS effective (you don’t get used to it)–it was Xanax or Prozac (don’t quote me, check the site) or something like that. It’s called off-label usage or something like that.
But it didn’t address whether you still get ADDICTED which to me is a bigger issue.
