Well, 16 years old seems kind of young, you should maybe talk to a doctor first. I tried the free 2 week sample of Alli, and it definitely worked for me. Actually I lost 7lbs during that time. The only down side to taking it was the fact that it gave me diarrhea for the first few days until I cut back on my fat intake, then every thing was fine.
I’m glad that I only tried the sample ’cause I’ve heard of people having lots of intestinal problems, I’d recommend you try and get a sample first too. I’m not sure if there are any more available but you can try http://www.freesamplesfromheaven.com/alli-orlistat-free-sample
Good luck and be healthy

all this drug does is cause the body to be unable to absorb fat in food. if you eat food that is high in fat, digestion can be painful and stools will be runny, possibly with chunks of yellow in them (that would be the fat). however, if you take alli and stick to a healthy diet (they have suggestions and stuff in the package i think) then you should be fine. good luck
