Question by HELP!!!: How does personal property tax work in Hawaii?
In Kansas when you get your car “legal” and get tags, you pay personal property tax at that time.
In Missouri, you get your car “legal” by getting tags, but it’s cheaper when you get your tags, because you get a nice bill at the end of the year.
In Hawaii, do you get a bill, or is it taken care of when you get your tags?
