Since Alli only blocks fat, it doesn’t really do anything when you take it with healthy (non-fatty) meals. Although the label says to take it with each meal, I think that’s just a marketing ploy to get you to use up your supply faster.
I only use it when I eat an extra fatty meal, like a big rib eye steak or something, or Mexican food (greasy enchiladas with cheese, etc.).
So, it may just be a waste of money to use it on healthy foods that are low in fat. Concentrate on using it when you are “bad”
. Although the prescription form (Xenical) worked better, Alli does work.
I started taking Alli as of this past Saturday and been following the program. It tells you that for best results to take it with each meal. I’ve been taking it with each meal even the ones that don’t have fat. But honestly to tell you the truth, I’m going to start taking it only with food that contains some fat. Because if you think about Alli blocks most of your vitamins of your food and if you eat fat free meal, then why waste your money on that extra pill? Especially if the 60 pills are only good for 20 days if you take them three times a day. I also have been restricting myself to fatty foods because I’m really afraid of the so called treatment effects. Remember to exercise and you will be fine. Feel free to msg me if you would like.
